Frequently Asked Questions?

Question Answer
Do you work with people to prepare for them show ring? Yes, we can either work with you privately or meet you at one of the local conformation classes. At the classes, you can leverage adding the other breeds and third party participation as the judge, handler or instructor.
Do you have a Facebook page or posting on LinkedIn for your kennel? No, not yet anyway. Creating and maintaining this website is good for me/us right now. I am putting the website up as a link or URL on FB and LI so you can click from one to the other.
How many breedings to you do per year? Generally we are lucky to have one or two litters per year. Ocassionally we get a puppy back from a co-ownership. We don't take deposits or reservations but we do maintain an 'interested in the future' list. Let us know how we can help you find a chowlet for your family.
Can I place show picture's on the site? Yes, if you have cleared the use of the photo(s) with the photographer. Protect yourself, I am not liable for photos that you send. I have a browser funtional window for you to drop your own photo in. Please put a caption it for each photo.
Where are the dog's pedigree's from? We are breeder-members of the Chow Chow Club, Inc. we support the website where the pedigrees and photos are stored. Please go to the parent club site or www.chowclub.org and navigate to the pedigree database. Thank you Thunderhill Chows - Phil & Vicki Degruy.
How do I add a photo to my dog's page or profile? Send me the photo attached to email I will try to post it within the week and send you a notification that your chow's album is updated. The photos should saved/sent in .jpeg file format.
Can I post other 'pet photos' in the Pendleton Paw Prints Gallery? Yes, just remember Pendleton Chows has approval rights for the posting for all additional gallery pages and photos.
Can I invite other dog owners to join this site? Is there a fee? Yes, we welcome your recommendations and requests. Please send request to: pat@pendletonchowsltd.com. Generally a personal reference is good. If you know their dog's call name - that is also great information. There is no fee to post on our site.
